Legislative Update

It's almost time to close the books on the 2010 legislative year; we currently have 90 enactments and 195 introductions. 2010 turned out to be an excellent year, especially considering that this is an even-numbered year, when some state legislatures do not meet and others have only short sessions. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this year such a success. There's no time to rest, however, as we're already making plans for 2011.

ULC Baby!

The ULC family has grown again! Elizabeth Cotton-Murphy, ULC Chief Administrative Officer, recently had a baby boy. Jackson Burns Murphy was born on Thursday, July 15, and weighed in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Both mother and baby (and father Colin) are doing fine. Elizabeth will be on maternity leave until late September. Congratulations Elizabeth!
